Pillow Shop Round Up

One of the most common questions I get on instagram is where to find the pillows we use in our projects. Today I’m sharing a bunch of sources - some tried and true and some newer to me - that will fulfill all of your pillow dreams!

  1. Susan Connor NY: not only is Susan incredibly talented, she’s also the kindest human ever. I find myself coming back to her designs time and time again

  2. Spark Modern: always a go-to for me and one of the first sources I check when starting pillow design schemes. The range of fabric is impressive and they ship quickly!

  3. One Affirmation: a favorite neutral and boho shop with designer fabrics as well as vintage.

  4. KLineDeco: often more unique or hard-to-find fabrics can be sourced here.

  5. McGee & Co: great mix of designer, vintage, and their own designs. I’m particularly loving the solid options lately!

  6. Ginger Sparrow: beautiful hand block patterns in a soft palette.

  7. Filling Spaces: more hand blocking as well as some wovens that are to die for!

  8. Danielle Oakey: Danielle does a great job of creating combos and taking the guess work out of pattern play if that’s something you struggle with.

  9. Jolie Marche: a newer source to me but I’m loving their soft colors and pretty stripes.

  10. Indigo Bliss Boutique: also a newer shop to me but a great mix of options!

And if you’re unsure how to get the right mix, remember opposites attract. Pair a floral with a geometric or a vintage with a solid. Also mix shapes and sizes and don’t go too small - 22” is the size I use most but I always pair it with someone larger and smaller. Lastly, make sure you size up on your insert by 2” in both directions. A sad, deflated pillow isn’t the look you want!
